Hummus
Easy, delicious hummus that’s ready in 10 minutes.

- 200-250 g can or jar of chickpeas
- ⅓ cup cold water
- ⅓ cup tahini 3 ounces; 85g, stirred well before measuring
- 2 tsp lemon juice plus more as needed
- 1 tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt plus more as needed; if using table salt, use half as much by volume
Add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and salt to the food processor
Blitz the mixture slowly adding water. Stop and scrape down the walls of the mixer as needed
Blend to the desired consistency adding more water if needed. Remember the mixture will stiffen when stored in the fridge.
